Getting there

To reach the trailhead for the Sezincote House and Bourton on the Hill Walk from Moreton-in-Marsh, head west on Bourton Road/A44 for 1.8mi and make a left, following the road for 280ft. Make a right here and continue on for 130ft to find the trailhead on the left.

Walking the Sezincote House and Bourton on the Hill Trail is a fantastic outdoor experience that will allow you to take in the natural beauty of The Cotswolds AONB, as well as a charming village and grand architecture of a nearby estate. Setting out from Bourton on the Hill, make your way across the open terrain of the farmland to the southwest, enjoying the beautiful views of the rolling hills that surround you. Eventually, you will pass by the wonderful Sezincote Estate, of which the buildings were constructed in the Neo-Mughal style that was inspired by 16th and 17th Century buildings in India. Continuing along the trail, you will reach the village of Longborough before turning to the north on the return leg of the walk back across the open countryside to Bourton on the Hill.
