Kynance Cove Walk

Setting out from the National Trust Kynance Cove car park, you will initially head south across the open terrain in order to meet up with the South West Coast Path, a much longer route that works around the southwestern coast of England. After meeting up with the trail, turn left to leave the natural beauty of Kynance Cove behind in order to make your way to the southeast.

As you walk along the dramatic coastal cliffs, you will have an amazing sightline looking down onto Pentreath Beach and the blue expanse of Mount’s Bay further afield. Continuing on to the southeast, you will follow along the trail as it traces the edge of the cliffs of the Lizard Peninsula, eventually bringing you to the terminus of the route close to Lizard Point. If you were to follow the trail east from here you could make a quick detour to actually reach Lizard Point, which is the most southerly point of mainland United Kingdom.

After enjoying the stunning views of the sea, you will turn back towards the north and retrace your steps along the coastal path until you are once again met with the amazing sight of Kynance Cove. After wrapping up your time on the Kynance Cove Walk, you can head a bit further to the west to better explore this popular tourist destination, enjoying the breathtaking views while popping into the Kynance Cove Cafe for some post-walk snacks and drinks.
