Holywell Coastal Circular Trail Description

Whether you are looking for a longer walking route to get in some extra exercise or to simply take in even more of the beautifully scenic views that can be found along the coast of Cornwall, the Holywell Coastal Circular Trail is the perfect route for you.

Setting out from the trailhead at the Cottage Farm Touring Park on Trevowah Road, you will initially make your way to the northwest along some undulating terrain, before following the trail southwest along the edge of the Holywell Bay Golf Club. Shortly after this, you will skirt around the edge of Holywell village, making your way west onto the headland for some beautifully scenic views overlooking Holywell Bay, the beach, and Gull Rock.

After taking in the views, the coastal path will continue to the south, winding around a number of smaller coves on the way to Perran Beach. Here, you can spend some time lounging on the beach and taking in the views across the water, before climbing uphill to complete a brief loop around the coastal terrain. Having reached the southernmost point of the route, you will make your way back along the coast in order to once again pass by Holywell and the golf course on the return leg back to the trailhead.
