Gaddesden Place Circular Walk Description
The Gaddesden Place Circular Walk follows a lovely kid-friendly loop through the countryside that takes you to the 1768-built Gaddesden Place, a storied building embroidered with tales, both old and new. It’s a hot spot for filmmakers! Little Britain has shot some scenes here, among many other commercials, films, and TV shows.
This walk may be lovely, but it can be slightly dreadful during wetter months. The paths can get super muddy, making this walk super tough to navigate. Therefore, it’s best to walk this loop during the summer months when there’s less chance of rain. Your route begins and ends at Old Chequers, where you can enjoy a refreshing drink either before or after your loop!
