The Bryce Horse Trail is a great circuit in Bryce Canyon National Park. This trail is used by horseback riders and day-hikers alike. The second half of the Bryce Horse Trail gets less hiking traffic than most trails in the area, so if you are looking for peace and solitude – and maybe even a horse friend – this is the trail for you.
Getting there
From the Bryce Canyon Visitors Center, head south down Bryce Canyon Scenic Drive for 0.5mi before taking your first left onto Lodge Loop Road. Follow Lodge Loop Road for0.5mi before taking another left onto Sunrise Point Road. Park at the Sunrise Point Parking area on the right side of the road at the Sunrise Point Trailhead. The Bryce Horse Trail begins here.

Bryce Horse Trail Description
The Bryce Horse Trail is a beautiful hike in Bryce Canyon National Park. As the name would suggest, this trail is used by hikers and horseback riders. When hiking, be sure to mind where you step and keep your eyes and ears open for folks on horseback looking to pass you by. The Bryce Horse Trail is a lovely loop that will take you past Sunrise Point and the ET Hoodoo, before looping back around on a low-traffic trail where you can enjoy some peace and solitude surrounded by the beauty of the Utah wilderness.
From the Sunrise Point Trailhead, follow the path south to Sunrise Point and take the trail on your left to head east past the ET Hoodoo. Stay left at the following divides in the path to loop your way back around to the Sunrise Point Trailhead where you began.
