Torres del Paine National Park
Nestled in the mountains of southern Chilean Patagonia, Torres del Paine National Park is a breathtaking landscape brimming with glaciers, lakes, rivers, and dramatic mountain peaks. Established in 1959, the name of the park means “blue towers”, and is a nod to the iconic columns of rock that are undoubtedly the most famous attraction within the park.
Covering an area of 181, 414 hectares, the park is one of the largest and most popular in Chile, seeing over 250,000 visitors per year. While most of these adventurers come to experience the world famous W Circuit or O Circuit treks, other activities - such as kayaking, horseback riding, biking, and mountaineering - are also popular. No matter how you decide to experience the natural beauty of Chilean Patagonia, there is no doubt that an exciting adventure is always waiting around the corner in Torres del Paine national Park.
