Godfrey Glen Trail Description
Godfrey Glen Trail is a short but stellar hike in Crater Lake National Park that offers a unique alternative to the crater views. You’ll hike out over top of a canyon with sheer walls. The scenery is quite dramatic and the trail is short enough and easy enough for all skill levels. Dogs on leash are also permitted to join you on this trail.
From the trailhead, you’ll hike out to where the loop splits. Our route goes clockwise, leading you over the creek to a viewpoint over Duwee Falls. Note that, although this is a noted viewpoint, the falls are actually too small to see. You do get an impressive view of the rock pinnacles, though!
Continue past the viewpoint, admiring the canyon, before the trail crosses the creek and returns to the trailhead.
