Daly Creek Trail Description
The Daly Creek Trail is a gorgeous hike on the Montana side of Yellowstone National Park. This trail can get wet and mucky, especially after the spring melt or a fall rainstorm. We recommend wearing waterproof hiking shoes and bringing an extra pair of socks if you head out on a damp day. With lovely views, rolling meadows and lush forest, the Daly Creek Trail is a wonderful place to spend quality time in the Montana wilderness.
Beginning at the Daly Creek Trailhead, follow the path northeast and stay left at the first divide in the trail. Follow the bank of Daly creek for just under five miles to where the trail splits at the NPS Park boundary.
At the NPS boundary, turn around and retrace your steps back to the trailhead where you began.
