Lewis Lake Campground Trail Description
The Lewis Lake Campground Trail is an easy, family-friendly hiking route. This trail does not have the jaw-dropping vistas of other trails in the area, but it is a great way to unwind before settling down for the night at the Lewis Lake Campground. Lewis Lake itself is a popular spot for fishing, boating, and camping. With lots of forest flora and fauna to see, the Lewis Lake Campground Trail is good family fun.
Beginning at the campground parking area, follow the trail south to a divide, take the path on your right to hike out and back to the lakeshore, then take the path on the left to hike a loop around the campground.
When you’re done your hike roast some marshmallows over the campfire before cozying up in your sleeping bag for a night under the stars.
