Squaw Spring Trail Description

The Squaw Springs Trail is a low-traffic hike in a beautiful section of the Manti-La Sal National Forest. Due to its elevation, this trail gets a fair amount of snow in the winter and certain sections may become impassable. For the best hiking experience, we recommend heading out on this trail in the summer months when the trail is clear and the forest is in full bloom.

From the trailhead, follow the path south for 4.3mi, past Squaw Spring to La Sal Pass Road.

The junction with La Sal Pass Road marks the turn-around point for the Squaw Spring trail, however you can continue onwards to link up with the South Mountain trail or the Hell Canyon Trail to the south. If you are done exploring for the day, simply turn around and follow the same trail back to the trailhead.
