Ring Arch Trail Description
The Ring Arch Trail is a great little hike in Arches National Park that is off the beaten path. This trail is not maintained and the path itself can be unclear at times but this hike is very doable if you have a good sense of direction (or a map). The hike leads to a beautiful, delicate sandstone arch formation that is not often visited by hikers. If you are looking for some peace and solitude away from the crowds of the main Park attractions, this is the perfect trail for you.
From the parking area follow the path as it heads west. Pick your way along the trail for 0.7mi to the Courthouse Wash. Cross over the creek and look for Ring Arch rising in the distance. Continue west for another mile to Ring Arch itself.
At Ring Arch, take a rest and admire this beautiful pothole arch of Entrada sandstone before turning around and following your footsteps back to the parking area.
