Klondike Bluffs Trail Descritpion
The Klondike Bluffs hike is a great adventure in a beautiful area of the Utah desert. This hike is hot, sunny, and has no water sources, so be sure to bring lots and lots of water along with you. This is a multi-use trail, so be mindful of mountain bikers or OHV drivers who are looking to pass you as you hike along. If you are looking for some quality time away from the crowds of Arches National Park, this hike is the perfect choice for you.
From the trailhead, follow the well-defined trail north. Just 0.2mi in, the trail will divide—take either path as these two trails connect just 0.3mi up. 0.8mi from the parking lot, you will reach a trail intersection—take a right here to head east. 0.5mi from this intersection, you will see a spur trail to the right, just ignore this and continue hiking on the left as the trail curves northward. From here on out, just stick to the right-hand path and head north. Two miles later, you will reach another intersection, take a right and follow the trail a short distance to a viewpoint overlooking Arches National Park.
Take a well-deserved rest at this viewpoint before turning around and heading back to the parking area the way you came.
