Tower Arch Trail Description

The Tower Arch Trail is a beautiful, secluded hike to a jaw-dropping arch formation. The Tower Arch itself is an impressive sandstone feature spanning 92ft across. This hike has steep, sandy sections, and requires a bit of light scrambling, so hikers should be prepared with proper footwear and relevant experience. Bring lots of water with you on this hike, and don’t forget to bring the camera—the views along this trail are absolutely stunning.

From the Marching Men Trailhead, follow the path southwest as it curves down to the Marching Men Sandstone formation. This series of towers is named for their resemblance to soldiers standing at attention. From this viewpoint, follow the trail another half mile up to the Tower Arch. This last section of trail is steep and sandy, but keep going—the destination is worth it!

Once you reach the arch, revel in the beauty of this impressive geological formation. Enjoy a snack or lunch under the shady canopy of sandstone before turning around and heading back to the trailhead following the way you came.
