If you’re searching for a fun, family-friendly hike (especially one near Silver Falls Campground), Silver Falls Trail is the one! This hike takes you into a canyon to a waterfall that you can get close enough to touch. The hike isn’t too hard, but you should be able to climb many steps to complete it.
Begin from the trailhead and begin up the stairs. There are two wide switchbacks after the stairs to help you up. Check out the canyon, freshen up in the midst of the waterfall, and then follow the route back down. There can sometimes be downed trees on the descent, so take care if you have little ones in tow.
