Whether you are looking for a good spot of exercise or are hoping to take in the breathtaking views of the Brecon Beacons National Park, the Canal and Beacons View Circular Walk is an amazing adventure that will highlight the natural beauty of the Welsh landscape.

Setting out from the trailhead, you will head west and cross over the Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal, before beginning your climb up the lower slopes of Tor y Foel. Continuing on to the west, you will pass by two scenic vantage points that offer beautifully scenic views of both the beacons and the Talybont Reservoir.

Backtracking to the east, you will turn left along the road and follow it northeast, heading downhill towards the edge of the canal and the village of Tal-y-bont on Usk.
