The Cranny Falls Walk is an amazing adventure in County Antrim, Northern Ireland that will see you traverse the countryside to visit a stunning waterfall. While out walking the trail, you will leave the town of Carnlough behind and make your way slightly uphill, following the banks of the Carnlough River until you arrive at the serene location of Cranny Falls. This is an excellent trail with fairly easy to traverse terrain, making it suitable for all ages and skill levels.

The trailhead for the Cranny Falls Walk can be found at the Cranny Falls car park in Carnlough, just off Herbert Street.

Cranny Falls Walk Description

Whether you are looking to reconnect with nature to enjoy a bit of peace and quiet outdoors or simply want to take in the sights of a cascading waterfall, the Cranny falls Walk is an exceptional route that will be sure to tick all of the boxes.

Setting out from the car park, you will make your way to the northwest and leave the town of Carnlough behind, traversing the open fields as you make your way up the hillside. Eventually, you will turn more directly to the west and follow along the winding banks of the Carnlough River.

After climbing slightly further uphill, you will arrive at a beautifully scenic viewpoint overlooking Cranny Falls set within the rocky landscape. From here, you will simply head back along the same trail to return to the trailhead.
