Argory House Walk Description
If you find yourself in County Tyrone with a bit of an itch to explore the grounds of an historic estate, then you should certainly set your sights on the Argory House Walk. This short trail will lead you around a 320 Acre woodland estate that features beautiful views of a neoclassical mansion and a beautiful riverside setting.
From the trailhead, you will make your west while taking in the beautiful views of The Argory House that dates back to the 1820s, eventually reaching the banks of the River Blackwater. From here, you will continue heading west along the water’s edge.
Follow the path as it bends to the left and away from the river in order to take you through the dense cover of the forest. Turning left once again, you will make your way to the northwest along the lane that will bring you back to the trailhead where you started your woodland adventure.
