The Lough Fea Walk is an easy-going family adventure in the Sperrins Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Northern Ireland that will provide some lovely views of the water. While out walking the trail, you will meander along the forested shores of a woodland lake and take in the beautiful views across its calm surface. This is an excellent walk to relax and reconnect with the outdoors.
Getting there
The trailhead for the Lough Fea Walk can be found at the small car park off Tullyaran Road, roughly 6.5mi northwest of Cookstown

If you are after a laid back walking route in Northern Ireland that will surround you with nature and beautiful lakeside views, then you should add the Lough Fea Walk to your list of adventures. The peaceful forest atmosphere and tranquil lakeside setting will be sure to help you forget the chaos of the outside world and unwind.
Setting out from the trailhead, you will make your way to the southeast and pass through the forest in order to walk along the shores of Lough Fea. Views of the water are not the greatest on this side of the lake; however, they will be much better on the eastern shore.
After rounding the southern edge of the water, you will meet up with Lough Fea Road and follow it to the northwest, taking in the beautiful views of the water while doing so. Eventually, you will break away from the road and head left in order to complete the loop around the charming lake that will bring you back to the trailhead where you started.
