Gortin Glen Walk Description

If the aim of your next walk is to leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind and reconnect with the beauty of the natural world, then you will want to check out the Gortin Glen Walk. Featuring a dense covering of trees and peaceful woodland paths, this walk will provide you with the perfect atmosphere to recharge your inner battery and get a spot of exercise in the process.

Setting out from the trailhead, you will make your way to the southeast and traverse the serene woodland pathways that cut across the forest floor, climbing up the hillside in the direction of Mullaghcarn. Eventually, you will break free of the tree cover and enjoy some nice views of the undulating forest terrain surrounding you.

From here, you will head to the northwest and descend the wooded hillside, crossing over a small stream to meet up with the trail from the initial portion of your walk.
