While out walking the trail, you will make your way along the River Lagan and cut across the open countryside to reach the Giant’s Ring, an ancient monument that dates to 2700 BCE during the Neolithic Period. This is a fantastic adventure that can be done with the entire family.

The trailhead for the Giant’s Ring Circular Walk can be found along the southern edge of Belfast, near the junction with Ballylesson Road and Edenderry Road.

From here, you will continue walking along the trail as it leads to the north, winding through the countryside to eventually arrive back at the trailhead.
