Great Wood of Hambleden Walk Description
Spend time exploring lovely beech woods on the Great Wood of Hambleden Walk in the Chilterns! While most families will enjoy this walk, younger children may have a tough time with the 5.8mi distance. From your car, walk by the post office and towards the trees! When you reach the woods, go right to start your loop. Eventually, the woods will open up to fields before taking you back into the Great Wood. When you reach the part of the loop where you began, take the same road back to your car as this is a lollipop route. Be sure to stop at the pub for refreshments if you parked there!
