Maidensgrove Circular Walk Description
Enjoy a compilation of scenery on the Maidensgrove Circular Walk in the Chilterns! The crisp green countryside scenery paired with the fragrant smells of forest air intertwined with beautiful bluebells are enough to please anyone. However, this walk will have you taking on some steep ascents and descents, so come prepared with water, especially if it’s a hot day. Setting out from the car, you’ll head into the open field towards Russell’s Water. Skirting just outside of the town, you’ll enter a wooded area and continue in the shade for some time before emerging for a quick moment in an open space. Then, you’ll walk through another forest: Longhill Hanging Wood. After, the loop will veer off into Moore’s Wood, where you’ll walk along the edge of the woods. Revel in more open views as you make your way to Maidenden’s Grove, where you’ll join up with Park Lane and head back to the parking lot where the walk began.
