Astotin Lakeview Trail Description
Hiking the Astotin Lakeview Trail is a great way to get panoramic views of the lake and check out both Sandy Beach and High Island along the way. The interpretive trail heads north from the parking lot past Sandy Beach and into the woods. As you hike along the trail, you’ll be able to see High Island on your left. Pass by some Beaver Ponds on your way to the main viewpoint where you will be met with panoramic views.
This trail is easy, but some exposed roots and occasionally slippery sections should be approached with care, especially in shoulder seasons or after heavy rains.
