Wendover Woods and Buckland Circular Walk Description
The Wendover Woods and Buckland Circular Walk immerses you in the Chilterns, where wildflowers paint the countryside, woods add a layer of seclusion, and the canal adds diversity. While some sections will get your heart rate up, the path is relatively flat, making this 11.5mi activity a lovely way to spend an afternoon or a morning. To top it off, you can rest your feet and replenish your appetite in Cholesbury before taking on the final leg of the loop.
The network of trails forming a spider web in this area makes it easy to take on another path instead of the one outlined on the Wendover woods map. If you’re okay with creating your own adventure, go for it. But if you want to this specific Wendover woods walk, we suggest downloading the GPS before going.
